Phoebe Joaquin

Even as a very young girl, I was consumed by stories. Before I could read or write, I filled little notebooks line by line with squiggly scribbles. Once I could read, I read voraciously, up at all hours with a night light.

I’ve embraced a diverse career with the following through-line: my ability to dive into detail to tell and sell a compelling and authentic story through various mediums. Narrative is at the heart of what I do.

I started my career in my hometown of Washington, DC, working as a consultant for a firm providing expert analysis and expert testimony services to law firms, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies. Most of my work was within antitrust and intellectual property litigation compiling evidence and analysis for a jury. I then moved to New York to work for a unicorn startup in their performance marketing department. There, I managed the media portfolio in print, video, and audio and worked to bridge the gap between media investment in short-term revenue driving initiatives and compelling brand storytelling for long-term brand growth. While still at that company, I moved to Los Angeles and expanded into a broader creative portfolio. I now work full time as a producer and photographer. And in my own time, I still fill notebooks.

I’m scrappy. I’m used to working within constraints: be it stringent project guidelines or meager resources. I’m effective at bringing a holistic visions to life because of my ability to span genres and focus areas, and engender collaboration across departments and teams. I love to tackle unique problems with multidisciplinary answers.
